"Royal Treatment"
–Brook Trout–
After a successful caribou hunt in Northern Quebec in September, 2001, I was able to enjoy some truly extraordinary fishing. Most of the casting was from the rock-strewn shoreline of Diana Lake. Countless small Lake Trout were landed along with a couple of nice Arctic Char using minnow imitations, but the real jewel of the day was this 18 1/2" Brookie. Several larger Brook Trout were seen in the icy, crystalline waters of this incredible body of water which still beckons my return. Ah, some day.
